Fallout 4 came out a long time ago and since then I have gone back and played it multiple times. Over the years I managed to build a really awesome and OP character, so it is only fair that I get to carry that over to Fallout 4’s London mod.
But it’s a real shame that officially I cannot port my existing character into Fallout London. I really think this is something the Fallout London team should look into in a future update. But for the time being, there is a workaround for this.
Yes, you and I can use our existing characters from Fallout 4 to play Fallout London. As usual modders have come up with a solution that helps us all achieve this dream.
How To Get Your Fallout 4 Character To London
First, make sure you have the Fallout London mod downloaded and installed properly. The next step is to boot up Fallout 4 with the character you want to import into Fallout London.
Open the console command menu by pressing the ~
key (tilde key) on your keyboard. Type the following command:
- player.moveto 0719c0c7
After teleporting into Fallout London, you may find yourself inside a wall. To escape this, use the following command:
- tcl
This command toggles collision, allowing you to move through walls.
Move away from the wall and navigate to the open area. Once you are free, turn off the clipping by typing tcl
again.
Here’s a quick step by step summary of the process:
- Download the mod
- Get onto Fallout 4 with the existing character
- Typ in player.moveto 0719c0c7
- Type in tcl
- Leave the wall
- Type in tcl again
So far there are no reported bugs that come with this process.
