Update:
Rumors about a PS5 Pro have intensified over the past few weeks. Insider Gaming has provided an expected release window of September (barring any delays), and now an insider known as “Rythian” claims that Hello Games’ No Man’s Sky will be the very first official game enhanced for the PS5 Pro.
Hello Games has been on a roll lately, so I wouldn’t be surprised if this is true, making them the first to deliver a PS5 Pro game to Sony Interactive Entertainment.
At this time, it is unclear what kind of graphical enhancements the console will offer. However, the console itself appears to be quite powerful if the leaks are even partially accurate.
The PS5 Pro is reportedly rendering graphics 45% faster, and ray tracing performance is said to be 2-3 times faster compared to the base PS5. However, the general consensus around the launch is that very few first-party titles will support the PS5 Pro at launch.
With only two months to go, things should become clear once in the next few weeks.
