How to Unlock Altair’s Outfit in Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla?

To celebrate the game’s success, Ubisoft is gifting all Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla players with Godly Reward that contains a variety of items. One of the items is the iconic Altaïr’s Outfit from the original Assassin’s Creed game from 2007. In this guide, we’ve detailed everything there’s to know about how to get Altaïr’s Outfit in Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla.

Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla Altaïr’s Outfit

Altaïr Ibn-La’Ahad, the first protagonist in the Assassin’s Creed franchise, was a revered member of the Levantine Brotherhood of Assassins and served as their Mentor. His character and outfit from the 2007 game hold a special place in the series’ history.

In order to unlock Altaïr’s Outfit in AC: Valhalla, players need to open up the Animus Store from the Main Menu. You can also check the lower right part of the main title screen where Ubisoft often lists news and promotions, including the Godly Reward tab. Remember that the game needs to be in Online Mode to be able to access the Animus Store – it can’t be opened in Offline Mode. The game also needs to have Title Update 1.2.0 installed. It’s around 16GB on PC.

In the Animus Store, the Godly Reward should be on the front page, for 0 Helix Credits. Once claimed, players will instantly get the Yule Festival rewards, 300 Opals, and the Altaïr’s Outfit. Altaïr’s outfit is a superior quality armor piece that cannot be upgraded or enhanced. Its primary function is to serve as a cosmetic outfit, changing Eivor’s visual appearance completely. You can wear the outfit with hood up or down, just like all armor sets in the game.

When you equip Altaïr’s Outfit in your torso armor slot, be aware that it will overwrite all other armor parts and clothing. Also, it breaks your current armor set, thus you may lose stats benefits. For those looking to maintain their stats while sporting this iconic look, visit Gunnar in your Settlement Ravensthorpe. He can apply Altaïr’s Outfit as a cosmetic overlay to your existing armor using the newly released Transmog feature.

Another important thing to keep in mind is that Ubisoft is aware of some players getting the 0x70000d03 error while trying to claim the Godly Reward. A fix is expected in the coming days.

The package also includes the Modraniht Ceremonial Armor Set, Seax, Shield, Traditional Yule Garland, and 300 Opals. These items were part of the previous Yule Festival and are now yours for free.
