AC Valhalla: Power Level With XP Farming, 700XP Every 30s

The Assassin’s Creed franchise took a new direction and dived deeper into RPG elements with the past few titles. The new AC Valhalla Power Level system is the same as the character level system in RPGs. Eivor’s power level determines how powerful he is and what level of enemies he can defeat. Keeping in mind the importance of power level to progress in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, it might come in handy if you know how to increase the power level in the game, and in this guide, we’ll explain how you can do so.

While roaming around England, you’ll notice that some regions have a high power level recommendation. Unlike previous games, these areas aren’t locked off until you reach a certain level but are available to explore from the beginning. However, the enemies in these areas are quite powerful and will shred you to pieces if you pick a fight with one. So avoid going to these areas until you’re powerful enough.

Update Setp.2023: After so many years I still can’t stop playing Valhalla and during my recent playthrough I found an amazing XP farming method that warranted an update to this guide for your. The XP farming method I found allowed me to earn 700XP every 30s. It is a great way to quickly level Eivor’s Power Level in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

New XP Farming Method: 700XP Every 30s

To pull off this XP farming glitch you need to be in England, specifically Ledecestrescire. It is a level 20 zone that has a large amount of Wealth, Armor Armor Sets, but mostly importantly unique world bosses.

Go to the location shown in the video below to find an enemy camp with a unique world boss.

Our goal is to kill the boss at the enemy camp with with a twist. You need to unlock the Explosive Corpse Ability for this XP farming method to work. Infiltrate the enemy camp however you like and kill the boss and then use the Explosive Corpse Ability to blow him up. This will net you 700XP but we need a lot more to level up fast in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

The next step is to exit the camp and save your game. Now exit the game and load back into your newly created save file. When you load back in the boss would have respawned which allows you to kill him once again. Repeat this process as many times as you want and net 700+XP every time.

What is the max Level cap in Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla?

In Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, the game uses a “Power Level” system instead of traditional leveling. Your power level is a measure of Eivor’s strength and directly affects combat.

Max Power Level

  • Official Max Power Level: 400
  • With Glitch: 403
  • Hidden Power Value: 490 (achieved through mastery points)

How to Increase Power Level?

  1. Skill Points: Earn skill points through quests, mysteries, and combat. Each skill point increases your power level by one.
  2. Mastery Points: After reaching the max power level, you start earning mastery points which can be invested in Bear, Wolf, and Raven masteries.

Tips for Leveling Up

  • Complete all story quests.
  • Engage in side quests and raids.
  • Collect mysteries, wealth, and artifacts.

Time Required

For 100% completion, it will take anywhere between 100-120 hours, depending on your efficiency and skill level.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: How to Increase Power Level (All Other Known Methods)

Complete The Main Story Missions

There are plenty of ways to increase Eivor’s power level in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, the most important of which is completing the main story missions or quests. These quests net you the most amount of experience points or XP, which is the cornerstone to increasing your power level in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. XP is directly proportional to skill points meaning the more XP you gain by doing a quest, the more skill points you gain.

These skill points can then be spent on the Skill Tree to unlock different skills. Each time you unlock a skill, your power level will increase by 1. In this way, the number of skill points you’ve spent determines your power level. For example, if you’ve spent 30 skill points on the skill tree, your power level will be 31 since you start at power level 11.

Visiting Blue Orb

Aside from the main story quests, there are some other activities that award you with a fair amount of XP and hence skill points. You can visit Blue Orbs to reveal mysteries, which, when completed, award you with a good chunk of XP.

Synchronization Points

Synchronization Points are found all over the map, and interacting with them not only rewards you with XP but also reveals points of interest in the area. So you have a better time discovering mysteries and getting resources. Furthermore, these Synchronization Points also act as fast travel points. That is why we recommend unlocking them as soon as possible for faster traversal. Otherwise, you will spend a lot of time on your mount or on your feet.

Defeating Powerful Enemies

Increase Power Assassin's Creed Valhalla

The more powerful the enemy, the more XP you get. Higher-level enemies do get you better XP, but they can be pretty challenging. So make sure that you have the right gear and build before you challenge them.

Discovering New Places

Exploration is very important in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Not only do you discover events, mysteries, and resources as you explore the world, but you also get XP for finding new places and locations. New content is added with updates and expansions, so you have plenty of areas to explore.
