Baldur’s Gate 3 Mind-Archive Interface
The Mind-Archive Interface is in the Necrotic Laboratory, located within the Mind Flayer Colony beneath Moonrise Towers. Reach it by progressing to the end of Act 2, after confronting Ketheric Thorm atop Moonrise Towers and descending into the tower’s interior.
Throughout the game, especially in the Mind Flayer Colony, you’ll find brain jars containing Minds like the Waking, Fresh, Dark, and True Mind. These are essential for interacting with the Mind-Archive Interface. Bring these Mind items to the Mind-Archive console. Inserting them activates the device and allows you to converse with the nearby Slack-Skinned Head, which will articulate the thoughts and memories of the Mind’s owner.
Each Mind item provides different lore insights. Notably, using the Waking Mind and choosing to purge it will grant you the Githzerai Mind Barrier buff, offering an advantage on Intelligence Saving Throws.
