Fallout 4 Charisma Perks Guide: Best Perks, Stats

Charisma is the ability to charm NPCs to get more information, convince them to do something, or avoid a fight. You can also use Charsiam to barter or make Marchents lower the prices. If you want to be successful in speech challenges it is best to invest in Charisma Perks in Fallout 4. Conversations have different difficulty levels so having a high Charisma stat goes a long way.

Spend your perk points to boost Charisma in Fallout 4, invest to get 1 point of Charisma to a max of 10. Below is a complete list of Fallout 4 Charisma perks.

Fallout 4 Charisma Perks

There are 10 different Charisma perks in the game.

  2. Black Widow / Lady Killer

Cap Collector

This perk gives you better bartering power which is how you enhance your workshop settlements. Here’s what you can do with it:

  • Clothing Emporium
  • Trading Emporium
  • Restaurant
  • Weapons Emporium
  • Armor Emporium

2  Level 20, CHR 1  Buying and selling at vendors is even more fruitful. 
3  Level 41, CHR 1  Invest 500 Caps to raise a store’s buying capacity. 

Black Widow / Lady Killer

This is a highly unique Charisma perk that allows you to do more damage to the opposite sex during combat. If you are playing a male you’ll do more damage to the female character and vice versa.

1  CHR 2, Female  +5% damage to the opposite sex and makes them easier to persuade with dialogue. 
1  CHR 2, Male  +5% damage to the opposite sex and makes them easier to persuade with dialogue. 
2  Level 7, CHR 2, Female  +10% damage to the opposite sex and makes them even easier to persuade with dialogue. 
2  Level 7, CHR 2, Male  +10% damage to the opposite sex and makes them even easier to persuade with dialogue 
3  Level 22, CHR 2, Female  +15% damage to the opposite sex and makes them, even more, easier to persuade with dialogue. Easier to Pacify with Intimidation Perk.

Lone Wanderer

Now this one is quite interesting and must be used when you plan to spend more of your exploration time alone. When you invest points in Lone Wanderer you get additional bonuses while exploring Fallout 4 without a companion.

1  CHR 3  Take 15% less damage and get +50 carry weight. 
2  Level 17, CHR 3  Take 30% less damage and get +100 carry weight. 
3  Level 40, CHR 3  +25% more damage to enemies. 
4  LEVEL 50, CHR 3  +25 more action points. 

Attack Dog

If you unlocked Dogmeat in Fallout 4 you can invest Perk Points in Attack Dog to give him more abilities.

1  CHR 4  Dogmeat can hold an enemy which gives you a better chance to hit them with VATS. 
2  Level 9, CHR 4  Dogmeat attacks have a chance to cripple the enemy limb. 
3  Level 25, CHR 4  Dogmeat attacks have a chance to cause Bleed.

Animal Friend

If you wish to control the animals you see in the wilderness, invest in Animal Friend. It allows you to point a gun at an animal to pacify it and later give it commands to, for example, follow you to an enemy camp to cause a distraction.

1  CHR 5  Point a gun at an animal lower than your level for a chance to pacify it. 
2  Level 12, CHR 5  Incite the pacified animal to attack.

Local Leader

Invest in Local Leader Charisma perk to enhance your Workshop Settlements. You can create the following:

  • Trading Stand, Stop, Emporium
  • Armor Stand, Stop, Emporium
  • Weapon Stand, Stop, Emporium
  • Drink Stand, Stop, Emporium
  • First Aid Station
  • Armor Workbench, Chemistry Station, Cooking Station, Cooking Stove, Weapons
  • Workbench 1-2, Power Armor Station

Party Boy / Party Girl

In Fallout 4 you can become addicted to alcohol but there is a way to counter it, invest in Party Boy / Party Girl to avoid being addicted to alcohol and enjoy its effects without worry.

2  Level 15, CHR 7  Alcohol effects are doubled 
3  Level 37, CHR 7  +3 Luck when drunk. 

Inspiration

You can give your companions special buffs and bonuses by investing Perk Points in Inspiration.

Rank Requirements Effects
1  CHR 8 Companion does more damage and can’t damage you.
2  Level 19, CHR 8 Increased damage resistance for your companions and you can’t hurt them.
3  Level 43, CHR 8 Companion can carry more items with him/her.

Wasteland Whisperer

The Wasteland Whisperer perks let you pacify any creature in The Commonwealth.

1  CHR 9  Aim your gun at any creature below your level for a chance to pacify. 
2  Level 21, CHR 9  Incite attack with a pacified creature. 
3  Level 49, CHR 9  Give commands to pacified creatures. 

Intimidation

In addition to animals and creatures, you can pacify humans in Fallout 4 through Charisma Perks. Invest your perk points in Intimidation to pacify humans and get your way.
