How to Earn Trait Points and Level Up Traits in Remnant From The Ashes
Level Up: Each time you level up in the game, you earn a Trait Point. You level up by gaining experience points (XP), which you can earn by killing enemies and completing quests.
Complete Quests: Certain quests in the game reward you with Trait Points upon completion. Make sure to complete as many quests as possible to maximize your Trait Points.
Find Tomes of Knowledge: These are special items scattered throughout the game world. Each Tome of Knowledge you find grants you a Trait Point.
Leveling Up Traits:
Access the Trait Menu: You can access your Trait Menu by opening the character menu and navigating to the Traits tab.
Select a Trait: Your available Traits will be listed in this menu. Select the Trait you wish to level up.
Spend Trait Points: Once a Trait is selected, you can spend your earned Trait Points to level it up. Each level increases the effectiveness of the Trait.
Confirm Your Selection: After selecting the Trait and the number of points you wish to spend, confirm your selection to level up the Trait.
Remember, Traits can significantly impact your gameplay, so choose wisely where to invest your Trait Points. Also, keep in mind that some Traits have a maximum level, after which you cannot spend more points on them.
How to Reset Traits in Remnant From The Ashes
To reset your Trait Points, you need an item called the “Orb of Undoing”. However, this item is only obtainable after defeating the final boss in the game. Once you’ve done that, you’ll receive the Orb of Undoing, which allows you to reset all of your spent Trait Points and rebuild your character as you wish.
It’s important to note that the Orb of Undoing can only be used once and will be destroyed after use. But don’t worry, you’re not locked into your traits after using it. Once the final boss has been defeated, you can purchase additional Orbs of Undoing from a vendor named Reggie. Each Orb costs 2,500 scrap.
So, while resetting Trait Points is possible, it requires some significant progress in the game and careful resource management. Spend your Trait Points wisely!
