How to Repair House in Medieval Dynasty

Houses in Medieval Dynasty require regular maintenance and repairs to ensure they remain functional and provide adequate shelter for you and your villagers.

However, when the durability of your buildings drops drastically, it’s important to know how to repair them.

Before you can start repairing, use the Inspection Mode by holding the ‘Alt’ key (default) to highlight damaged sections of the house. Damaged parts will be highlighted in red.

Walk around the house and inspect each section, including walls, roof, and doors, to identify all areas that require repair.

To repair a house, you will need specific materials based on the type of building and the extent of the damage.

Materials Required:

  • Wooden Structures: Logs, Sticks, and Straw.
  • Stone Structures: Stones, Logs, Sticks, and Straw.
  • Thatch Roofs: Straw.
  • Wooden Roofs: Logs and Planks.
  • Daub Walls: Daub (made from clay and straw).

Common Materials Used For House Repairs

  • Logs: Chop down trees using an axe.
  • Sticks: Gather from the ground or by cutting down smaller trees and branches.
  • Straw: Harvest from reeds found along riverbanks.
  • Stones: Collect from the ground or mine from rock deposits.
  • Planks: Craft at the Woodshed or buy from vendors.
  • Daub: Craft using clay and straw at the Barn

How to Repair House With -50% Durability

The first thing you need to do is check the durability of your house. You cannot repair buildings that are above 50% durability. If your house’s durability is below 50%, it will appear red, indicating that it needs to be repaired.

To repair a house, you will need a wooden hammer. Make sure you have one in your inventory before attempting to repair your house.

Go to the building that you want to repair and right-click on it. A menu will appear with several options, including “Repair.” Select the repair option.

Repairing a house requires a variety of materials such as logs, wood, stone, and other similar items. Gather these materials before attempting to repair your house.

Once you have the necessary materials and have selected the repair option, you can start repairing your house. Use your wooden hammer to repair any damaged parts of the building. The progress bar will appear to indicate how much repair work is left.

Tip: Consider upgrading buildings to more durable materials (e.g., upgrading a wooden house to a stone house) to reduce maintenance frequency.

How to Repair House With Over 50% Durability

You can’t repair a house that’s over 50% durability all you can do is upgrade it to bring it back up to 100% durability. To upgrade your house, you will need to use Daub, a crafting item. To do so, gather the necessary materials, including logs, planks, stones, and Daub. Once you have all the materials, right-click on the house and select the “Upgrade” option. Follow the prompts to upgrade your house.
