Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree trailer has been revealed and we got to see some interesting boss fights and lore related to the game. We previously mentioned the different versions of the DLC including the Elden Ring Shadow Of The Erdtree Collector’s Edition and their prices but interestingly the Collector’s Edition does not come with a physical copy of the game or disk.
No Disk Included With Elden Ring Shadow Of The Erdtree Collector’s Edition
The official marketing material for Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree mentions that the Collector’s Edition will come with:
Hardcover artbook
Messmer The Impaler Statue
Shadow of the Erdtree voucher code
Official Soundtrack
So even though this is a physical edition of the DLC and it comes with a special box and statue, buyers will not get a physical copy of the DLC or a disk. It would also seem that there is no steel book included with the CE either. This is rather odd since even the Deluxe physical edition of Elden Ring came with a Steelbook and a disk. I know because that is the version that I got for myself back when the base game was released in 2022.
Luckily, the DLC will be available digitally and players will be able to buy it separately on their preferred platform. Other versions of Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree include:
- Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree GOTY Edition (Game of the Year) – 79.99 euros (physical edition available on PS5 and Xbox Series X)
- Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree Premium bundle – $49.99 – Includes DLC, the digital artbook, and the soundtrack.
- Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree Collector’s Edition – 259.99 euros (physical edition available on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X)
If you do not have the base game and are interested in getting it then you can buy the GOTY edition to get both the base game and the DLC. There is also a premium bundle, for those looking to buy the DLC digitally. This includes the DLC, digital artbook, and the soundtrack.
The DLC expansion is available for pre-order right now. If you do pre-order then you will get the new bonus gesture when the game releases.
