Diablo 4 has a lot of gear and aspects that you can farm to make your build better for the endgame activities. Uber Unique items are some of the rarest in the game. Luckily, the devs have made it a bit easier for players to farm Uber Uniques. In this Diablo 4 guide, I go over how you can effectively farm Uber Uniques.
How To Farm Uber Uniques In Diablo 4
Not only are Uber Uniques in Diablo 4 rare (2% drop rate), but they are also some of the most powerful items that you can get. Some bosses have a higher chance of dropping Uber Uniques, and Uber Duriel is one such boss.
Uber Duriel is one of the most challenging bosses in Diablo 4, so you need to be high enough level and have the right gear to stand a chance of defeating him. To drop Uber Unique, you need to defeat Uber Duriel at World Tier 4 (Torment difficulty).
Uber Duriel, King of Maggots Boss Requirements
To fight Uber Duriel, King of Maggots, you will need :
- 2 Mucus-Slick Eggs
- 2 Shards of Agony
Uber Duriel, King of Maggots, can only be summoned on World Tier 4 (Torment difficulty). Once you have the materials needed, head over to the Gaping Crevasse dungeon. It is near Gea Kul, to the south of Kehjistan. Head to the Alter to summon Uber Duriel, King of Maggots.
If you are at a party, only one player needs to use the materials. So we recommend being in a party so that you can farm the boss multiple times. It is worth mentioning that being in a party will increase the scaling and make the encounter harder. Soloing the boss is easier with that in mind.
How To Get Mucus-Slick Eggs In Diablo 4
Mucus-Slick Eggs can be farmed by defeating Echo of Varshan in World Tier 4 (Torment difficulty). He is a level 75 boss, so easier to beat than Uber Duriel. You will need to summon Echo of Varshan at the Malignant Burrow, right next to the Tree of Whispers. Summoning the Echo of Varshan requires:
- 1 Gurgling Head
- 1 Blackened Femur
- 1 Trembling Hand
- 1 Malignant Heart
The Gurgling Head, Blackened Femur, and Trembling Hand can be farmed by defeating Grotesque Debtors during Whispers of the Dead objectives. You can target farm Whispers during Bloodharvest. So not only do you get the Bloodharvest rewards and XP, but you also get Tree of Whispers progression. Malignant Hearts can be obtained from Tree of Whisper caches and world bosses.
How To Get Shards of Agony In Diablo 4
You can farm Shards of Agony by defeating Grigoire, The Galvanic Saint, at World Tier 4 (Torment difficulty). Grigoire is a level 75 boss, and you can summon him at the Hall of the Penitent, south of Ked Bardu. You will need 5 Living Steel to summon him.
Living Steel can be farmed during the Helltide event. You will need to open a 300 Cinder chest to get it. This is guarded by a boss. So once you have enough Cinders, find and interact with the chest. Fight the boss, and once defeated, you can open up the chest to get Living Steel.
