Midwinter Proofs in Diablo 4 are a special currency exclusive to the Midwinter Blight event. These Midwinter Proofs are crucial if you wish to unlock unique seasonal rewards, including exclusive cosmetics and gear. We highly recommend farming Midwinter Proofs to be able to collect limited-time items that won’t be available outside the event period i.e., Jan. 02, 2024. This guide will help you learn some strategies that you can use to farm a lot of Midwinter Proof in Diablo 4.
Diablo 4 Midwinter Proof Farming
Diablo 4’s Midwinter Blight event, marked with an orange outline in affected areas, features Midwinter Blight-themed enemies. These enemies drop Blighted Fragments, essential for farming Midwinter Proofs. Additionally, defeating the Red-Cloaked Terror during this event yields a Red-Cloaked Trophy, which can be exchanged for one Midwinter Proof.
The snow-covered areas of Kyovashad will spawn Midwinter Demons. These enemies drop Blighted Fragments, which can be exchanged for Midwinter Proofs. A single enemy typically drops about 5-7 fragments. Other than that, found in the winter region of Kyovashad during the event, Frigid Husks yield 1-4 Lost Heirlooms upon destruction. Thirty Lost Heirlooms can be exchanged for one Midwinter Proof.
After accumulating enough Midwinter materials (Blighted Fragments, Lost Heirlooms, Red-Cloaked Trophies), head to the Collections Table in Midwinter Square to convert them into Midwinter Proofs. This process also contributes to increasing your Tribute Tier in the event.
Farming the Midwinter Proofs is most efficient through killing monsters and completing events in Fractured Peaks. The Gale Valley area, around the Yelesnya Waypoint, is recommended for farming. It’s essential to travel between event locations to refresh the zones and maximize farming efficiency.
Tier III Midwinter Tribute upgrade significantly improves the farming time for Midwinter Proofs by increasing the drop rates of Blighted Fragments and Lost Heirlooms in nightmare dungeons. Alternating between two specific events increases the likelihood of encountering the Blighted Revelry spawn, which rewards a significant amount of currency.
Once you have farmed enough, you should be able to exchange the following:
- Blighted Fragments: 300 for 1 Midwinter Proof.
- Lost Heirlooms: 30 for 1 Midwinter Proof.
- Red-Cloaked Trophy: 1 for 1 Midwinter Proof.
This should help you easily farm a ton of Midwinter Proof during Diablo 4’s Midwinter Blight event. Remember that the event is live until January 02, 2024 so you only have a few weeks to get all the offerings. If you have any other questions be sure to let us know in the comments down below!
