PCIe Gen5 SSDs are supported on both Intel 13th gen and AMD Ryzen 7000 series CPUs. Just make sure that the motherboard you get supports the feature. All the mainstream AMD motherboards do not support Gen5 SSDs since this is an optional feature. You will get support for Gen5 SSDs on higher-end motherboards such as B650E, X670, and X670E.
