Cooler Master Releases Angled 12VHPWR Adapter For Older PSUs

Cooler Master has already released a couple of new power supply units that meet the ATX 3.0 standard. The company has now released an angled 12VHPWR adapter cable that works with older PSUs. Here is everything that you need to know about the new Cooler Master 12VHPWR angled adapter.

The adapter is 65 cm in length, and on one end, it has three 6+2 connectors that plug into the older PSU, and on the other end, it has a right-angled 12VHPWR connector that plugs into a new graphics card such as the Nvidia RTX 4070 Ti. The right-angled connector should provide a much cleaner build and help with cable management if you are someone like me and like to hide as many cables as possible. Or at least have them look good if they cannot be hidden. The new Cooler Master 12VHPWR angled adapter is ideal for people that are interested in getting a new graphics card but do not want to upgrade their power supply unit.

  • M2000 Platinum

While variant two, or CMA-NFPC16XXBK2-GL is for the following series of PSUs:

  • MWE Gold V2
  • GX Gold
  • XG
  • XG Plus

According to Cooler Master, the three 8-pin connectors provide up to 600W of power to the graphics card. They are available in black right now, but you might get more colors down the line. The adapter cable is single-sleeved. If you want to learn more or are interested in picking up the adapter, then you can check out the official site.
