Seasonic PS Vertex ATX 3.0 PSUs are going to release soon to support upcoming graphics cards and from what we see these power supply units are going to be very expensive. They can get as expensive as some mid-range graphics cards.
Seasonic PS Vertex ATX 3.0 Power Supply Units
The Seasonic PS Vertex power supplies feature Gold/Platinum efficiency and will be available in 1000/1200W variants. They will come with Gen 5 600W connectors. This is interesting because as far as we know, Corsair is sticking with a type 4 2×8 pin for one gen5. These power supplies will be available in 4 different variants mentioned below:
- PS Vertex 1000G – $257.24
- PS Vertex 1200G – $298.54
- PS Vertex 1000P – 287.92
- PS Vertex 1200P – $338.66
We have got some listings that give us an idea regarding how much these PSUs are going to cost and they are not cheap. The pricing starts at $257.24 and goes up to $338.66. At the time of writing, you can buy the XFX SPEEDSTER SWFT 210 Radeon RX 6600 for $269 or the ASUS GTX 1650 OC Dual for $237. Obviously, these PSUs are not meant for budget or mid-range cards but this is just to give you an idea of how expensive these power supply units are.

The power supply units are fully modular, so cable management is going to be easier. But that is expected keeping in mind the high price that consumers are going to pay.
