“An Unlikely Invitation” is the introductory quest to Fallout 76’s first-ever map expansion, Skyline Valley. This quest introduces players to the new storyline and areas that then lead to Into Lands Unknown quest.
After downloading the Skyline Valley update and loading the game, you’ll receive a new radio station: the Vault-Tec Broadcast. This broadcast signals a distress call that requires immediate attention from Vault-Tec representatives.
- Where to Go: The broadcast source is located just north of Sutton.
- Directions: Travel east of the Overseer’s Camp to reach the fork in the road near the crash site. Use your map to locate Sutton and navigate to the marked position.
Finding Alyssa
Upon arriving at the crash site, you’ll need to locate Alyssa. However, due to the quest’s buggy nature, finding her can be challenging.
If Alyssa doesn’t spawn, return to the main menu and join a new server. Reloading the game often resolves this issue.
Alyssa is usually found either beside the vault door or at the farmhouse just down the road from the crash site.
Where To Find Vault 63
After speaking with Alyssa, she will direct you to find Vault 63, but her instructions are vague. Vault 63 is located in the Ash Heap region, between Hornwright Testing Site #03 and Garrahan Estate.
Expect to spend approximately 30 Caps to fast-travel to this area if you are far from it.
