A casting call from April of this year has come up and it seemingly points to Resident Evil. The casting call is looking for actors to play a 10-year-old boy and a 12-year-old girl who grew up in a compound (Umbrella?) while surviving a zombie apocalypse.
This gets interesting when you look at the history of the casting director, Mari Ueda. Mari has worked on multiple Resident Evil projects including Resident Evil 6, Resident Evil Revelations, and mostly recently on Resident Evil Vendetta animation film.
New RE game? Well, Resident Evil 9 and multiple RE remakes are in development it’s not far-fetched to think this is related. Let’s wait and see how this one turns out.
