No Rest For The Wicked Warrick The Torn Boss Guide

Warrick The Torn is the very first boss you encounter in No Rest for the Wicked. Usually, I would say get the best weapons and level up before the boss fight but since this is the very first boss, there isn’t much you can do to level up or get the most powerful weapon.

Thankfully, this isn’t the hardest boss in the game and if you manage to stay calm and focus on rolling /dodging, you can easily beat Warrick The Torn in No Rest for the Wicked.

If you die a few times, that is OK because the more time you spend the most familiar you’ll get with its attacks.

Stay Behind Him And Attack The Legs

The best way to beat Warrick The Torn is to stay behind him and attack the legs. Warrick The Torn is very slow so he telegraphs his attacks. Pretty much every attack he throws your way can be avoided by rolling to right-left. Here’s an example how to play against Warrick The Torn:

Each time you roll away, depending on what direction you go, you can land a maximum of two hits before the boss jumps away or counter attacks. If you have health items, go nuts and land as many hits as possible.

The boss doesn’t do much damage so I can’t really advice you to be too cautious. However, if you don’t have many health items to heal yourself, it is best to stick to 2 may be 3 hits per dodge roll that gets you behind him or on his side.

Double daggers work the best against Warrick The Torn, but a sword will work just fine. You’ll have to be a bit careful if you’re using a heavy weapon so a bit of adjustment will be required for post-dodge roll attacks.
