Upon entering The Lament area in Yaesha, players are greeted with a somber scene: a series of coffins, each marked with unique symbols, and bodies draped in blankets. Dominating the area is a conspicuous dial (or plinth), mirroring the symbols found on the coffins.
How I Solved Lament Dial Puzzle in Remnant 2
To begin solving The Lament Dial puzzle, players must first thoroughly explore The Lament to find a book that spawns in random locations around the area.
This book contains a unique symbol on its first page, which differs from the ones seen on the coffins.
Note that the symbol and its color variations are randomized in each game.
The next step involves matching the symbol from the book to four of the shrouded bodies. Players must identify which four blankets display the book’s symbol and then memorize the corresponding symbols above these specific coffins.
With the four symbols in hand, return to the dial and input them. The order of entry is not important, but accurate identification is.
Once the symbols are correctly placed into the dial, the door ahead will open, revealing new paths and rewards.
Solving the puzzles will get you a World Shard, a weapon mutator, and potentially a ring.
These rewards may vary due to the game’s randomized nature. Further exploration in the area leads to another discovery: a hidden coffin beneath a balcony.
To reach this coffin you need to explore the tunnels and get the key which unlocks access to the Red Widow armor set.
