Gigabyte RTX 4070 Gaming OC Unboxing Leaked Ahead Of Release

Gigabyte RTX 4070 Gaming OC Unboxing

A video posted on Bilibili shows the unboxing of the Gigabyte RTX 4070 Gaming OC. The user posted the video of the outer box, the inner box as well as the contents of the box including the graphics card and the connector which is included in the box. Interestingly the card was not taken out of the plastic cover. This could be a video from a retailer that is looking to sell the card, which is why the card was not removed from the plastic cover.

The Gigabyte RTX 4070 Gaming OC is supposed to be one of the more budget-friendly variants and other variants include:

  • RTX 4070 AORUS MASTER
  • RTX 4070 AERO OC
  • RTX 4070 EAGLE OC
  • RTX 4070 WINDFORCE OC

We do not have the exact specifications of the gaming OC but we should find out soon since the official release is just around the corner. Leaks suggest that the RTX 4070 graphics cards will feature 5888 CUDA cores and 12GB of GDDR6X memory. Making it ideal for 1440p gaming. Leaks indicate that the graphics card will have a TDP of around 300W, a base clock speed of 2310 MHz, a boost clock speed of 2610 MHz, and in-game it will be able to hit around 2800 MHz.

We recently spotted a listing of the MSI RTX 4070 variants that started from $823 and went up to $915. You can expect to pay more for the higher-tier variants but expect performance to be pretty similar, especially at stock clock speeds.

Let us know what you think about the Gigabyte RTX 4070 Gaming OC and whether or not you are interested in upgrading to the RTX 4070. If you are then you can also check out our recommended CPUs to pair with the graphics card.
