The Cyberpunk 2077 Edgerunners update is available now. This update ties in with the Edgerunners anime that fans have fallen in love with. It also includes additional content, such as new weapons and clothing. In this Cyberpunk 2077 guide, I go over how you can start the new Edgerunners quest.
It is worth mentioning that this is the last update for the previous generation of consoles, including the PS4 and Xbox One. All future updates and the Phantom Liberty expansion are only available on the current generation of consoles: Xbox Series X and S and the PS5.
Starting Cyberpunk Edgerunners Quest “Over The Edge” IN Cyberpunk 2077
The new Cyberpunk 2077 Edgerunners quest is called Over the Edge. To start it, you need to head over to Megabuilding H4, which is located in Arroyo in the Santo Domingo district.
Once you are at the location, you need to pick up the braindance gear. This is going to trigger a cutscene, which is going to start the new Edgerunners questline. The exact coordinates of the location are 2612.59, 1460.59. Continuing the questline will also reward you with David’s jacket from the Netflix series if that is something that you are interested in getting. If you are a fan of the anime, then you might want to pick that up.
Furthermore, with the release of update 2.0, CDPR has included some other tributes to the characters from Edgerunners, and you can find different perks in the skill trees that are related to some of the characters, for example. I am not going to spoil the rest of the easter eggs, so be sure to look around and see if you can find them.
