Increasing your Inventory space in No Rest for the Wicked works a bit different than other games. Instead of upgrading your pouch or bag, you must upgrade multiple different components of your inventory to increase slot and carry capacity.
To upgrade your inventory space in No Rest for the Wicked you need to play the game until you reach Sacrament where you’ll speak with Rookery. The section won’t be accessible until you can beat Warrick the Torn, the first boss of the game.
Rookery won’t just give you the upgrades for free, you need to give Rookery ichor. You get this resource from killing “Torn” enemies. Each upgrade requires a certain level of ichor.
When you reach Sacrament, look for the main story marker on the map. It will guide you to the next objective. In a room, you’ll encounter two characters—Roan and the Rookery.
After a brief cutscene, you’ll receive instructions to speak to the Rookery. Now, you can exchange the ichor you obtained from killing Warwick for one of several inventory upgrades.
Your first upgrade will give you +5 Gear Slots or Item Inventory slots, depending on what you want to upgrade.
Here’s a full list of all inventory upgrade you can unlock:
- Gear Inventory Slots
- Item Inventory Slots
- Resource Inventory Slots
- Misc Inventory Slots
- Mainhand Slots
- Offhand Slots
- Ring Slots
- Tool Slots
Over time you can increase carry capacity significantly but despite that, it is best to manage inventory space by selling unwanted items.
