Cyberpunk 2077 The Rescue Walkthrough
The Rescue is set in the Westbrook area and you get it after speaking with Jackie Welles. You need to complete the prologues for any one of the three lifepaths in Cyberpunk 2077 before you can start this quest. Your main objective is to save Sandra Dorsett from the Scavengers.
After the end of the first mission, The Rescue will start immediately. Jackie will ask if you want to work on your combat skills if you agree you are taken to an optional combat practice section.
Whatever you choose to do with the combat section option you can get an extra dialogue with Jackie and then exit the car to unlock The Fool achievement in Cyberpunk 2077.
Follow Jackie into the elevator but before you enter there are a few items here and there you can pick up. Most of it is complete junk but even junk is useful if you dismantle it for parts. You can then use these to craft weapons and upgrade in Cyberpunk 2077.
Now, enter the elevator with Jackie and reach the apartment floor. Once there you will speak with T-Bug, and answer her call by pressing down on the D-pad.
You can answer however you want during her conversation as it has no impact on the outcome of this mission or the game.
Exit the elevator and follow Jackie down the hallway until you reach the marked apartment. Use your hacking skills to unlock the door. Press and hold L1/LB then press Square/X to hack the door. Follow Jackie inside the apartment and reach the next room. You can search for junk around the area.
You will soon come across the woman’s body so examine her. Press and hold L1/LB to examine her body on the operating table. Now interact with the door next to Jackie and continue the search for Sandra Dorsett. Reach the end of this area to find Sandra Dorsett.
In the next room, you will find an enemy standing next to a large chest. You can easily sneak up behind this enemy and grab them by pressing Square/X to perform a lethal or non-lethal takedown. You can hide the body inside the big chest to avoid being detected.
There are multiple enemies in the apartment and you can kill them all. It depends on you if you want the stealth route or shoot everything up.
T-Bug will mark a path for you to take them down but it is an optional thing. The objective is to kill the Scavenger leader. If you alert him he will run into the next room and hide but will keep shooting through the wall. You can shoot him through openings in the wall or choose the stealth route to complete this area without alerting him.
You will then reach the bathtub with Sandra Dorsett’s body inside. There is a timed option here where you ask Jackie for an airhypo to save Sandra Dorsett.
Take her body to the terrace and wait for the trauma team to come and get her. Place Sandra Dorsett on the stretcher and wait for the trauma team to help her. Wait by the door until they leave with Sandra Dorsett and then speak with Jackie inside the apartment.
Follow Jackie back to the elevator and call Wakako. Hold down the D-pad to open contact and select Wakako Okada.
Get in the car with Jackie and you will get “the Gig” side job which you can complete later. Halfway through the drive Scavengers will attack your vehicles. Press Triangle/Y to lean out and draw your gun. Shoot the enemies, it is best to target the drivers to crash their van.
From there you will watch a few scenes before you reach your apartment building. Exit the car and head up to your apartment. Interact with the bed to complete The Rescue mission in Cyberpunk 2077.
