Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is a remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. Announced during 2023’s PlayStation Showcase, the remake will release for PS5, Xbox Series S/X, and PC. Here is What MGS Delta: Snake Eater Collector’s Edition Includes
DealLabs’ Billbil-kun, who has an accurate track record of leaking information ahead of official announcements, confirmed that the physical release of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater includes standard and collector editions. The standard edition will be priced at $69.99 (US) while the collector’s edition will cost $199.99 (US).

The leak does not mention a standard or collector’s edition for the Xbox Series S, which makes sense considering the Series S is a digital-only console.
Billbil-kun noted that they don’t know what’s included in the collector’s edition, but they are confident that it should include a figure or a statue for the price. This is a reasonable assumption considering how other collector’s editions with similar price tags include a figure. Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree collector’s edition, priced at $259.99, comes with a statue of Messmer the Impaler and a hardcover artbook.
MGS Δ: Snake Eater Possibly Delayed To 2025
Billbil-Kun also mentioned that it is likely that the upcoming MGS game could be delayed to 2025. Currently, it’s one of the most anticipated games of 2024. PlayStation claimed that Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater would release in 2024 at the start of the year. However, Billbil-Kun’s sources indicate that a new announcement could be around the corner and the game will be pushed to 2025.
As per Billbil-Kun, a global distribution giant set a placeholder release date of 12/31/2025 for the physical copies of the game. He claims a new announcement should take place in the next 10 days, just in time for Summer Games Fest. Pre-orders for MGS Delta: Snake Eater should go live right after the new announcement.
Do take this information with a grain of salt since Konami hasn’t confirmed it and the actual announcement could be different. It is worth mentioning that Billbil-Kun has been right about release dates and game editions and has a history of leaking accurate information.
