Farming Trophies of Bravery
Trophies of Bravery are needed to open Brave Chests scattered throughout the newly-added social-space i.e. Hall of Champions in D2: Into the Light. Aside from that, you also require them to get the Brave Arsenal and the new Superblack shader.
There are a total of 15 Brave Chests in the Hall of Champions, each requiring a specific amount of Trophies of Bravery as well as reputation with Lord Shaxx.
Since there is a huge emphasis on Trophies of Bravery throughout Destiny 2: Into the Light, here are all the different ways using which you can farm a lot of them:
Onslaught
To the surprise of no one, completing a set of waves in Onslaught rewards at least one TOB. However, defeating Tormentors may drop extra ones. If you have a pre-made team, you should attempt to run the 50-waves version.

Shaxx Reputation Rewards
You can also earn Trophies of Bravery at various reputation ranks with Lord Shaxx. These are:

Bounties Paired with Endgame Activities
Lastly, you should always purchase Bounties from Arcite-99 and then play the required endgame activity i.e., PvP, dungeons, raids, etc. to not only earn reputation with Lord Shaxx but also some extra Trophies of Bravery.
