Ruin fragments are used to craft a handful of items in Elden Ring including Rainbow Stones. Ruin Fragments are easy to farm, thankfully, due to how important the item is for crafting recipes.
Ruin Fragments can be found on top of destroyed ruins scattered throughout Limgrave and the Weeping Peninsula. These fragments appear as slightly glowing white stones on the surfaces of the ruins. On average, each piece of ruined architecture yields about 3 Ruin Fragments.
Farming Ruin Fragments
To quickly farm Ruin Fragments, follow these steps:
- Find a Good Location: One of the best locations to farm Ruin Fragments is near the First Step Site of Grace. From this site, head northwest and jump down the cliff to find a large ruin.
- Collect and Respawn: Collect the Ruin Fragments from the ruins. After collecting, return to the Site of Grace to respawn the fragments.
- Repeat the Process: Repeat this process by traveling back and forth between the ruins and the Site of Grace to maximize your Ruin Fragment collection.
Alternatively, if you want more variety in your farming routine, explore the nearby ruins to the north and west to find additional fragments.
By consistently farming in these locations, you can gather a substantial amount of Ruin Fragments.
