How To Beat (Cheese) Divine Beast Dancing Lion In Elden Ring

Struggling with the Divine Beast Dancing Lion in Elden Ring? This cheese strategy can help you beat him without taking any damage. But before you can do this you need some items.

The right weapons, incantations, and spells are required to cheese Divine Beast Dancing Lion in Shadow of the Erdtree. Let’s start with required items for this cheese strategy.

ItemDescription
SealDragon Communion Seal (preferred) or any other seal.
IncantationsRotten Breath
TalismansFaithful’s Canvas Talisman (raises potency of incantations)
Flock’s Canvas Talisman (greatly raises potency of incantations)
Old Lord’s Talisman (extends spell effect duration)
Radagon’s Scarseal (boosts strength, dexterity, vigor, and endurance)
Flask of Wondrous PhysickOpaline Bubbletear (negates damage)
Cerulean Hidden Tear (eliminates FP consumption)
SummonMimic Tear (Yes, shut up)
Great RuneRadahn’s Great Rune (raises HP, FP, and stamina)

When everything is ready and you have all the items I recommended, summon Redmane Knight Ogha at the boss door. Summon the Mimic Tear right after you enter the boss arena.

Dodge the initial rush attack of the Divine Beast Dancing Lion by rolling away and allow your summons to take the agro.

Now we cheese:

Stay back and spam Rotten Breath or Ekzykes’s Decay. Your Mimic Tear will also use these incantations, speeding up the Scarlet Rot buildup.

Keep a safe distance from the boss to avoid damage. Even during the second phase, staying back will keep you out of harm’s way.

The Scarlet Rot will continuously drain the boss’s health. Use additional incantations if necessary to speed up the process.
