To get Dragonscale Flesh in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, you need to beat specific dragon-bosses found within the new areas introduced by the DLC. Specifically, the Jagged Peak mini-region bosses.
Dragon Flesh Location #1
The first Jagged Peak Drake can be found after exiting the Dragon’s Pit dungeon. Head towards the water, where you’ll see several dragon corpses and a sleeping dragon in the middle of the lake. If you attack the dragon, it’ll start the boss fights.
This dragon uses fire and lightning attacks, so it’s advisable to stay on Torrent and attack its legs. Defeating it rewards you with a Dragon Heart and Dragonscale Flesh.
Dragon Flesh Location #2
Continue up the mountain path from the Foot of the Jagged Peak Site of Grace, and you’ll encounter two Jagged Peak Drakes fighting each other.
It’s best to let them weaken each other before engaging. The survivor will be easier to defeat. Killing the last standing Drake will earn you another Dragon Heart and Dragonscale Flesh.
Dragon Flesh Location #3
Further up the mountain path, past the Dueling Jagged Peak Drakes, you’ll find Ancient Dragon Senessax in a cave.
This dragon uses red lightning attacks. Stay on Torrent, avoid the lightning, and focus on its tail.
Upon defeat, Senessax drops an Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone and a Somber Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone, along with Dragonscale Flesh.
Dragon Flesh Location #4
Bayle the Dread is a formidable boss located at the summit of Jagged Peak. After defeating the preceding dragons and climbing the mountain, you’ll reach the Jagged Peak Summit Site of Grace.
Bayle utilizes both lightning and fire attacks. Summon Igon for assistance, and aim for Bayle’s head or tail.
Defeating Bayle grants the Heart of Bayle, which can be exchanged for powerful rewards, including Dragonscale Flesh.
What Is Dragonscale Flesh Used For
Dragonscale Flesh is used to craft powerful items in Elden Ring, such as Hefty Furnace Pots.
These items are particularly effective against Furnace Golems, allowing you to exploit their weaknesses and defeat them more easily.
The crafting recipe typically requires a Furnace Visage, Hefty Cracked Pot, Redflesh Mushroom, and Ember of Messmer.
