Baldur’s Gate 3 has plenty of companions that you can romance, and the game takes things up a notch by allowing players to romance some characters that are not companions. We have already gone over how romance works in the game and how you can romance the different characters but can you have a threesome in BG3?
Can I Have A Threesome In BG3? Well, No! But…
At the time of writing, there is no evidence that suggests that there are threesomes in Baldur’s Gate 3. There is some chatter regarding a demonic orgy but that is most likely just a joke. The game does have plenty of romance options and you can even romance multiple characters without consequences.
Note: You can romance an origin and Halsin (though I’m told Lae’zel refuses). You cannot romance two origins.
Shadowheart and Halsin, for example, are fine with sharing and they do not mind if you meet your needs and get involved with other people. If you are already in a relationship with Shadowheart then she is fine with you getting involved with Halsin.
Your relationship with Shadowhaert remains intact even after you have done it with Halsin. This is not going to fly with all characters though as they might get upset and decide to just be friends moving forwards.
Important: You have the option to pursue romantic relationships with multiple partners simultaneously until you reach a specific juncture. At this critical moment, they will either compel you to make a choice or decide to end the relationship, allowing you to continue with another companion. So it important that you know how to break up before reaching that point to make sure you build a relationship with one character which leads to a ton of benefits towards the end.
While there are no threesome options in Baldur’s Gate 3 right now, the game has plenty of options, and experiencing everything in a single playthrough is not possible. We might discover something or a threesome might be added in an update to please the fans. You never know what the future holds
