AC Valhalla Bear Gear Locations For Weapons and Armor Sets

Gear in Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla is divided into 3 sub-categories – Raven, Wolf, and Bear. While roaming the game’s open-world, you’ll find them under ‘Wealth’. Some of these can be a little tough to find but you must do so in order to attain the 100% completion status.

Almost none of the Bear Gear in AC: Valhalla requires you to fight a lot of enemies, so you don’t have to worry about entering high-level areas. Below, you’ll find detailed locations of all the Bear Gear in the game.

Iron-Star Weapon Location

It’s located inside Kjotve’s Fortress that you’ll enter as a part of the campaign.

Skadi’s Wrath Location

While in Ledecestrescire, head over to the church of Ledecestre and head up the ladder. Once you’re up, destroy the wooden wall and jump down into the cellar. Down below, you’ll find the loot inside a golden chest.

Kite Shield Location

While in Grantebridgescire, head over to Wandrie and find it inside a hut with enemies nearby.

Plank and Buckler Location

You can find the Plank and Buckler shield within an underground passage situated above a camp in East Anglia. The entrance to this tunnel is located towards the east of Sutton Hoo.

Carolingian Longsword Sword Location

In East Anglia, head over to the Forest Hideout to find it inside a small tent.

Thegn’s Bracers Location

This one is located inside a hut. You’ll need to assassinate a target to acquire a key and then open the chest to find it inside. Use Odin Sight to find the right guard.

Thegn’s Helmet Location

To get Thegn’s Great Helm in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, you’ll need to collect three keys in Wincestre to unlock the chest containing the helmet.

Located in the tower of The Old Minster, directly under the synchronization point. Found on a roof beam inside the Old Minster.

Hidden in a room in the basement library of The Old Minster. You’ll need to climb over a partition to reach it.

Once you have all three keys, go to the courtyard attached to The Old Minster. There’s a door leading from the building to the courtyard. Shoot the window above that door to access the secret room containing the chest with Thegn’s Great Helmet.

Thegn’s Breaches

To find Thegn’s Breeches in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, you’ll need to head to Glowecestrescire. The breeches are located inside a locked cave in Aelfwood, which is a restricted area.

Use Odin’s Sight and your raven to locate the enemy holding the key. Once you have the key, go to the door on the western side of Aelfwood to unlock it and gain access to the cave.

Thegn’s Cloak Location

To get Thegn’s Cloak in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, you need to head to the Bishop’s Residence in Wincestre. Although the front door is heavily guarded, you can enter the building through an open window on the south side.

Inside, walk to the center of the residence and climb the ornate walls to get to the second floor. Look for a room with a barred door on the second floor.

There’s a wooden panel in the corner of the wall. Break it to enter a small room with the Wincestre Bishopric Hoard Map. Drag the nearby shelf aside to expose a hole in the wall. Shoot an arrow through the hole to unbar the door.

Fyrd Axe Location

Use the screenshot to head over to Foresti’s Rest. Once there, head inside the longhouse from the front entrance. Check the left side to find a cabinet (near a statue) that you can move. Once done, climb over to the other side and check a small room on the left side.

Inside, you’ll find a note and a key under some barrels that you’ll need to break. After getting the key, use the Odin Sense to reveal the chest directly above you. Either use the statue or something else to climb up and break the weakened wall to get the chest.

Brigandine Cape Location

Get to the area shown in the screenshot and shoot the barrels on the boat. This should destroy the nearby weakened wall, allowing you to head inside. Continue to follow the path and you should be able to find a chest at the very end.

Brigandine Helmet Location

You’ll need to head over to Wenlocan Outpost and inside the cave. Once inside, remove the large boulder blocking the path to the chest.

Brigandine Trousers Location

When you come near Dover Fortress from the seaside, you’ll notice it’s positioned on top of a high cliff. Beneath this fortress, along the cliff’s base, is a spacious cave. Guarding the beach area are several foes. Beyond the sandy stretch, a timber ramp leads up to a stonework building.

Once you’ve ascended the ramp, head to the right-hand side where you’ll spot a breakable section on the ground. To breach this section, either grab an oil jar from the vicinity or employ the Incendiary Powder Trap skill. After the flames die down, descend into the newly opened space and break through the timbered door below to find a chest full of treasures.

Brigandine Gauntlets Location

Brigandine Gauntlets are in Beamasfield, Cent. But you’ll need two keys to get to the treasure chest.

First Key: To aid in your search for the keys, employ Odin’s Sight, which highlights key icons in white, making them easier to spot. The first key is kept in a small hut, which is under the watch of a guard. The hut’s door is inaccessible, prompting you to enter through a window. Once inside, search the barrels and you’ll find the key placed on a table.

Second Key: The hunt for the second key takes you to Beamasfield’s western fringe, close to the town’s boundary. Guarded areas require a stealthy approach, so be prepared to Assassinate a few soldiers silently. Your target is a large wooden structure, distinguishable by the adjacent pile of logs. Sneak your way to the wooden planks where the second key awaits, along with a chest that rewards you with Leather, Fabric, and a valuable Assassin/Weapon Rune.

Brigandine Armor Location

Brigandine Armor is inside the Canterbury Cathedral in Cent.

When attempting to gain access to the cathedral in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, you should approach it from the north. Your entry point will be a structure of wooden scaffolding, which you need to locate and scale to reach the building’s second floor.

Once you’ve ascended the scaffolding and arrived at the second floor, you’ll notice a window that’s missing its glass or frame—this is your entry point into the cathedral’s interior. After entering through this window, make a left turn.

When inside, Use Odin Sight to locate the chest but you’ll need to shoot an arrow break the barricade of the door to gain entry.

Play Honor Bound main quest and you will find Varin’s Axe right after freeing the clan.

Thor’s Battle Plates Location

To obtain Thor’s Battle Plate in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, you need to defeat one of the Daughters of Lerion, Regan. Find Regan in Walsham Crag in the northern part of East Anglia.

The recommended power level to face Regan is 160. It’s advisable to be at least over 100-120 in power before attempting this fight.

• Regan attacks with twin blades and has strong spinning strikes and an unblockable leaping two-handed strike.
• Watch for the flash of runic symbols to know when to dodge her unblockable attacks.
• If Regan kneels down, prepare to dodge to the side to avoid her teleporting unblockable charge attack.
• Investing in the Brush With Death skill can be beneficial, as a well-timed dodge will slow her down, giving you the chance to strike.
• Parrying her attacks can help you score a few decisive hits, but be ready to dash forward as she’ll stumble backwards after a parry.

Thor’s Helmet Location

You need to defeat all three Daughters of Lerion and then head to Lerion’s Tomb (location marked in the image below).

In East Anglia, find the cave entrance that leads to a statue resembling the Daughters of Lerion. The statue has three slots on its back for the daggers. Insert them, and the statue will reveal a hidden staircase.

At the end of the staircase, you’ll find a Wealth Chest containing Thor’s Helmet.
