In order to get the Holy Sword of Saint George, players need to head over to the River Dee region. This area, however, isn’t accessible from the start. To unlock the River Dee region, players need to complete the River Map clues for the River Exe and River Severn, which involves finding clues at the Northern Monastery on River Severn and Escanceaster Monastery on River Exe.
Once accessed, players need to head over to the Deva Victrix section of the area. This is the largest fortress in the River Raids, starting from the edge of the river and winding up the mountain to an ice-covered, crumbling tower. The area is essentially a fortress where players will need to defeat a bunch of enemies. Even before getting to the area, players will need to make their way through waves of enemies. It’s recommended to carry a good supply of rations and consider taking a full crew for an easier raid.
After players enter the fortress in the Deva Victrix, they’ll need to force open a door at the top of the ice-covered tower to encounter the fearsome champion. Defeating the champion is basically the key to getting the Saint’s Holy Sword. The fight with the champion will start with a cutscene and require players to be ready for his immediate charge and lunge attacks. It’s advised to stay on the offensive, utilize dodging for his lunges, and be prepared for close-quarter combat as the space is confined. Your crew members will join the fight, creating opportunities for you to attack the champion while he is distracted.
Once defeated, players will be able to grab the Legendary Sword from the corpse of the fallen champion. Confirming the kill of the champion is crucial to obtain the sword.
