Elden Ring draws inspiration from various sources, blending elements from different fantasy and horror genres. In the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, players encounter a wandering mini-boss named Logur, the Beast Claw, whose appearance and weaponry bear a striking resemblance to Wolverine from the X-Men.
After defeating Logur, you’ll be able to pick up his signature weapon, the Beast Claws. These claws are ideal for inflicting Bleed and other status effects on enemies quickly due to their rapid strike rate.
However, using the Beast Claws effectively requires a strong rolling ability, as you’ll need to operate at close range and avoid taking damage.
Logur, the Beast Claw Location
Logur, the Beast Claw, roams the southeast area of the Gravesite Plains, specifically in the forest south of the Church of Consolidation.
To find him, start at the Gravesite Plains Site of Grace and ride southeast into the dense woods. Keep your eyes peeled for this wildman, as he blends into the environment with his windswept mane and ferocious demeanor.
Logur, the Beast Claw Boss Fight
Update: Use my Logur cheese guide to take him down in minutes.
Before facing Logur, make sure you have a solid strategy and equipment. NPC invaders like Logur can be tough opponents, but with the right approach, you can overcome them. Equip powerful Ashes of War and maintain a balanced loadout to maximize your damage output and mobility.
When facing Logur, aggression is your best bet. NPC invaders, including Logur, have relatively manageable health bars, allowing you to rush them down and stagger them with continuous attacks.
Keep up the pressure and don’t give Logur a chance to recover or retaliate. Use your Ashes of War to deal significant damage and press your advantage whenever you land a hit.
Tip: Grab talisman from Scadu Atlus and Southern Shores to boost HP and Stamina before starting boss and mini-boss fights.
If you give Logur too much space, he can unleash powerful Ashes of War and jump attacks that deal massive damage. Stay close and keep him on the defensive.
While aggression is crucial, don’t get greedy. Ensure you have enough stamina to evade or block Logur’s attacks. Running out of stamina can leave you vulnerable to his combos.
When Logur uses his flask to heal, close the distance quickly and strike. This is a prime opportunity to deal damage without much risk.
Once you catch Logur with an attack, follow up with more in a combo. His staggered state will allow you to safely chain multiple hits together.
